Product information "Aglaisio"
Lace patterns look so pretty
– but you need to concentrate while working them, and an entire piece in a lace pattern sometimes does not serve its purpose: Knitted items are usually supposed warm their wearer, and too many holes may be a tad counter-productive in that regard. “Aglaisio” (from the Latin name of the Peacock Butterfly, “Aglais Io”) is a warming cowl in a beautiful hand dyed yarn with a panel that requires
a manageable amount of lace knitting. The cowl is worked seamlessly in two triangles with a narrow rectangle of lace in between. Only one skein (100
g) of fingering weight yarn will suffice to make Aglaisio.
