This yarn is like a magic trick! "Crazy Zauberball" by German manufacturer Schoppel consists of 75% wool mixed with 25% Polyamide and has the most stunning color variations. Perfect for interestingly constructed hats! The color changes make the knitting extra fun, and the result looks just cool and special. The yarn is very light and durable and becomes soft after the first wash. One skein (100 g) are sufficient for an adult sized hat (ca. 50-55 g) plus a kid sized hat (ca. 40-45 g). It's also perfect to make a prettily striped Hitchhiker, Lintilla, Puerto Montt or Easy shawlette. Rosy Green Wool Cheeky Merino Joy

This yarn is pure joy: 100% Merino superwash from Argentina, spun in a traditional mill in the UK, GOTS-certified (i. e. produced animal- and eco-friendly) – and soooo supersoft! I do not know many yarns that feel as good as this next to your skin – so it's ideal for shawls, hats and scarves as well as baby clothing. My patterns Matchmaker (DK-Version) and Naiada, as well as Braidsmaid, Heaven & Space, Buds & Bumbles and Brickless are perfect with this yarn, but also my hat patterns Tensfield, Langfield, Blunk the Hat turn out wonderfully in this yarn.The "Melange" colors of Cheeky Merino Joy by Rosy Green Wool have an interesting, almost rustic look to them – while being just as soft as their solid cousins! This is achieved by dyeing a part of the white merino fiber in a dark color before it is spun in to yarn. The colors that are dyed on the skeins will then have a beautiful heathered effect.The sample "Knitters DNA" from our book "Hitchhiker Collection" was made out of two skeins of this yarn, colorway "Sea Green". The sample "Rose Candy" from our book "Strickmich! Knitting Inventions" was knit out of 1 skein of this yarn in color "Eismeer" and 1 skein in color "Nachthimmel". My patterns Obvious, Shore Hap Joy, Shrug & More, Corners, Edges, Stripes and Liebe Hannah were written specifically for this yarn.

Addi-Click Needle Point Lace Long

Can the concept of an interchangeable needle set be improved any further? Yes, it can! I have been using several different needle systems over the years, and all of them had the problem that after a while, the needle tips would become loose, yarn would be caught in the screwing section or the tips would fall off entirely (a catastrophe when you are knitting lace...!). The click system by German manufacturer Addi solves this problem: You insert the end of the cable, press and turn – and the needle tip is secured for good. It won't come off, even after many hours of knitting. The mechanism is not hard to learn (it's shown in this Youtube video (opens in new window, in German – but you will see how it works!). It's a patented, true innovation and I think it's really awesome as it makes knitters' lives easier. What I also like about it: If you need to set stitches aside you can just use a connector to attach the ends of the cable to each other (this would not work with other systems!). 1 pair of lace long needle points for addi-click, the plug and knit system for neverending knitting enjoyment. These needles are great quality "Made in Germany". The needle sizes are printed on the points (metric and US).
