Product information "Liebe Hannah"
A shawl to keep you warm: “Liebe Hannah” (German: “Dear Hannah”) is so big that you can wrap yourself in it or fold it lengthwise as a voluminous scarf. Who needs a winter coat when you have a shawl like this? The inspiration for this pattern was the literary character “Hannah” from a book that I love very much. * Hannah always misses the opportunity to buy herself a warm winter coat and keeps freezing in the cold Berlin winter. But with this shawl, I am sure she will be fine! The fun construction of this shawl will look fab in your favorite colors (find kits in Strickmich! Shop). Bonus: You (almost!) don’t have to cast on or bind off.
* Alena Schröder: “Junge Frau, am Fenster stehend, Abendlicht, blaues Kleid” (German: “Young woman, by the window, evening light, blue dress”). Unfortunately, it has not been translated yet, but I am sure it will as it has been a huge success here in Germany.)

Strickplaner - your knitting planner (ENGLISH)
Strickplaner is all new! We have listened to your feedback and made it a "timeless" planner – with lots of pages for projects and notes, but without a dated planner, so you can use and keep yours for many years! What would you like to knit? All knitting projects start with this question: sweater, sock or hat? Poncho, mitten or teddy bear? Sometimes, a skein of yarn that has been living in your stash for a long time, will tell you what it wants to become. And sometimes, it is really hard to decide which yarn to use: Alpaca or Merino? Self-striping or semisolid? Handpainted or kettle dyed? It goes on with the needle size, the size you choose for the project itself and the number of stitches to cast on. And then you may decide to add a couple of increases at a certain point or some yarn overs, or to make the cuffs in a different stitch pattern. This little book will help you keep track of all your decisions concerning your knitting and knitting projects: Strickplaner – your knitting planner will help you to choose the best projects for a relaxed knitting time, to choose the best yarn and to organize your projects and notes in a clever way. If you like, you can use the timelines to plan your projects over the year. We have added information about imperial and metric units and measurements, yarn weights and types of fiber. There are pages to keep track of your yarn purchases and wish lists for everything knitting-related. There are pages for knitting books, fun podcasts and knitting events. Jot down your ideas for future projects in the “Ideas” section of the planner, and write down every detail when you cast on in the “Projects” pages. And for everything else that pops up in your creative knitter’s brain, there are lots of pages for lists, notes and sketches, complete with indexes to make sure no idea is lost. Strickplaner wants to be your trusted companion for all your knitting adventures: small enough to carry everywhere, useful and totally independent of Wi-Fi or electricity. Happy Knitting! Obvious
Formate: PDF Download | Language: Deutsch
A stole so big, so soft, and with a geometric pattern that makes it both interesting but very simple to knit, with no lengthy cast-on or bind-off to worry about: That’s “Obvious”. It came to me when I was looking at my schematics for “One for the Books”, a  book cover I designed. It suddenly became obvious that one could use that construction for a stole, too –and so I did! “Obvious” is entirely worked in garter stitch in five of your favorite colors. Made out of an extremely soft, GOTS-certified Merino yarn, it will surely be one of your go-to projects to work on, and when it’s finished, your go-to piece to throw over your shoulders when the days get colder. Obvious, right? The beautiful yarn is Cheeky Merino Joy  by Rosy Green Wool. Colors used in the multicolor sample: Moos, Nachthimmel, Brombeersorbet, Holz and Schwarzer Kater. Colors used in the pink sample: Isar Kiesel, Cornwall Schiefer, Schwarzer Kater, Pfingstrose, Wildrose.

Corners, Edges, Stripes
Formate: PDF Download | Language: Deutsch
My new favorite shawl: great colors, fun stripes, interesting construction, generous measurements – and the yarn is so soft and feels so good that I think I will never take this off! “Corners, Edges, Stripes” is the striped variation of my “Ecken + Kanten”-Shawl that everyone keeps asking about. I have worn the predecessor of this shawl until it became old and gray, so when I needed a new one, I thought it would be a great opportunity to write down the pattern for it: Squishy garter stitch is worked in an organic superwash Merino in your four favorite colors. The triangles each use two of them, and each is worked in a different direction for knitting fun and an interesting look. The finished shawl weighs more than 300 g and is 340 cm (136 inches) wide which makes it extremely versatile – it even replaces your cardigan if you wish. But you can also make a smaller and lighter version using less yarn and the same instructions.  Find the yarn used for this pattern, the beautiful Rosy Green Wool Cheeky Merino Joy in our shop.
