Schoppel Edition 3

Product information "Schoppel Edition 3"
Just as pretty and colorful as the Crazy Zauberball, but a little more voluminous and made out of 100% soft, mulesing-free Merino fiber from Patagonia: the very cute "Edition 3" balls by Zauberball maker Schoppel in southern Germany. Without any artificial fiber content, they are perfect for everyone who likes their knitting natural, but colorful. The yardage is perfect for substantial shawls (300 m per 100 g), and if you use 3.5 to 4 mm (US 4-6) needles, you will get a pretty drape and a pleasant fabric, and – bonus! – they will be done in a little less time thatn your usual fingering weight shawl. The long color changes make the knitting so much fun and will make any Hitchhiker, Hitchhiker Beyond, Easy or Puerto Montt into a beautiful one-of-a-kind piece. If you are making little shawls for kids, one ball will be enough – but if you are making a shawlette or scarf for a grown-up, we recommend using at least 3 balls (150 g) of this yarn.

For "Hitchhiker" we recommend 150 g (3 balls) of this yarn.
For the sample "Strider" from our book "Strickmich! Knitting Inventions" we recommend 150 g (3 balls) of this yarn.

Strider

Take a deep breath, enjoy the view, walk a few miles in a bizarre landscape that was left behind by the gravel mines surrounding our village – that’s what I enjoy every day. “Strider” is a scarf that has proven immensely useful during my walks: In the middle, it is pointy as a shawl for extra warmth on the chest, but the ends are square. This fun geometric construction is accentuated by a pretty color-changing yarn. Entirely knit in garter stitch with super simple and short instructions, it is perfectly suited for a beginning knitter. Bonus: You can make this bigger by using more yarn – just knit until everything is used up.  The pattern "Strider" is part of Martina Behms book "Strickmich! Knitting Inventions".

Feldmark PDF Download
Language: Deutsch
Like freshly harvested fields: The stripes of a pretty self-striping yarn in “Feldmark” (it roughly means “fields in a rural area” in German) remind me of the surroundings of my village here in the very North of Germany. They look really cool in the special construction of the shawl that features changes in the direction of knitting. Everything comes together seamlessly, of course, and is super-easy to knit. It is long and narrow and perfect for wrapping around several times. I love the yarn “Edition 3” by Schoppel (a sportweight) for this project, as it is super soft and squishy and makes a very cozy little shawl. As gauge is not really important for this one, you can choose other gradient yarns in a different weight if you wish.

Easy
Formate: PDF Download | Language: Deutsch
Shawlettes in garter stitch are my favorite: They look great in a colorful yarn, they are squishy and warm your neck, and they are so easy to knit that even beginners will enjoy making them. This shawlette is named “Easy” because it is just that: So simple to knit, but the biased construction and change of knitting direction will bring out the best of a multicolored yarn. It is long and skinny and can be wrapped around several times, or tied with a knot – and it uses only 459 yards of fingering weight yarn. Length: ca. 200 cm (80 inches), Depth ca. 24 cm (10 inches) You start in one corner and knit a long triangle until 50% of your yarn is used up. Then you change the direction and modularly add a second triangle (no seaming required) – and you have made a colorful addition to your wardrobe! The pattern "Easy" is part of Martina Behms book "Strickmich! Knitting Inventions".

Lavender Sachets
To protect your favorite pieces from every knitter’s arch enemy, the moth, we are offering you now the lavender sachets by Aries. The handmade sachets contain the northern german „Lavendula angustifolia“. Besides protecting your clothes in an ecological way, it also spreads a fragrance in your closet. The plant is cultivated on the probably smallest organic cultivation area in Germany (53820ft²) the “Stapeler Kräuterfeld”. By selling this product, we are actively supporting the biodiversity and species protection. To protect your shawls and sweaters just hang the sachet on a hanger or put it directly between the clothes or your yarn stash. The sachet lasts many months, but you should knead it every now and then, to reactivate the fragrance. Two sachets per unit.

Santaverde Handcreme
I have been searching a long time for the ideal hand lotion for knitting hands. It should feel light and get absorbed quickly while still providing intensive care. In no way should the cream feel sticky or have a strong smell. Add to that the preference for truly certified organic cosmetics and the pickings get slim. Fortunately, the hand cream by Santaverde satisfies all these requirements.  It is made from pure aloe vera juice and rich oils from almond and coconut as well as shea butter and cocoa butter. It takes care of even rough and stressed hands, while feeling great.  The secret of Santaverde: Pure aloe vera juice uniquely rich in active ingredients from their own certified organic cultivation in Andalusia. Santaverde uses the pure juice, instead of the usual main ingredient water, complemented by precious plant oils and extracts, to create a unique effect for the health and beauty of your skin. You can find additional information at: www.santaverde.de Content: 50 mL Inhaltsstoffe (Volldeklaration)Aloe Vera Saft*, Weingeist*, pflanzl.
