Leaf me this way

Product information "Leaf me this way"
Cowls are a great invention: All the beauty of a knitted shawl without messy ends dangling somewhere. Even better when the cowl has an element of decorative lace! “Leaf me this way” is constructed seamlessly and starts with a simple garter stitch triangle. You can adjust the circumference of the cowl to your liking before you close it to form a tube – seamlessly, just by knitting back and forth in relaxing garter stitch. The lace pattern is worked on the outer edge for maximum effect: a pretty lace pattern that fits so well with the autumn theme of the yarn. The colorway “Heirloom Pumpkins” was dyed by Miss Babs especially for this pattern.

Rose Candy

Rose Candy was the last pattern of Strickmich! Club 2015. Warm and fun – that’s what a knitting project for the cold season should be like to cheer us up during the dark days of winter. Make a cozy stripey cowl in garter stitch, just knitting back and forth and joining the parts modularly. No purling, no seaming, just pure fun with stripes! If you have twice the amount of yarn available, you can make your cowl longer so that it doubles as a very warm scarf – the sweet icing on the cake of our Strickmich! Club year 2015! The yarn is an animal-friendly supersoft merino in a very special, limited colorway that will make your cheeks glow with joy. Here is a video in which I talk about the yarn and the design: Cast-On-2015-4 from Martina Behm on Vimeo. The pattern "Rose Candy" is part of Martina Behm´s book "Strickmich! Knitting Inventions".

So cozy, so comfy, so colorful: Broaden your horizons with Panoramic Cowl! It’s a great project to round off our Strickmich! Club motto “Naturally Nature” of 2020, as the colorway (“Landscape”) and the construction celebrate the beauty of what is around us. “Panoramic Cowl” is just the thing to add a little color and warmth to your winter wardrobe! The construction is unusual but very simple and a pleasure to knit. The yarn is creatively dyed and feels amazing when wearing it. Your neck and chest will be warm and protected from chilly winds outside, and nothing will come off or be exposed. Ideal for wearing when riding your bike, skiing, hiking or just taking a walk with your favorite four- or two-legged friends to enjoy the panoramic views in your neighborhood.  This pattern was exclusive to members of Strickmich! Club during the first six months after its publication in 2020. The colorway "Landscape" was dyed exclusively for us by Tieke Garne.

Aglaisio
Formate: PDF Download | Language: Deutsch
Lace patterns look so pretty – but you need to concentrate while working them, and an entire piece in a lace pattern sometimes does not serve its purpose: Knitted items are usually supposed warm their wearer, and too many holes may be a tad counter-productive in that regard. “Aglaisio” (from the Latin name of the Peacock Butterfly, “Aglais Io”) is a warming cowl in a beautiful hand dyed yarn with a panel that requires a manageable amount of lace knitting. The cowl is worked seamlessly in two triangles with a narrow rectangle of lace in between. Only one skein (100 g) of fingering weight yarn will suffice to make Aglaisio.
