One of the softest, most luxurious yarns we ever had in Strickmich! Club comes from Paris, from the hands of La Bien Aimée, a dyer with Korean-American roots. This yarn is so soft and wears so well, as it is cleverly composed from 15% cashmere, 75% merino fiber and 10% nylon for stability. It has the perfect yardage for small shawls and can – theoretically – also be used for socks. But who would want to hide these beautiful colors in their shoes? As the dyer has put so much creative energy in them, we can just relax and knit this yarn up in a classic small garter stitch shawl. Enjoy!

Uschitita Pure Sock

What an amazing yarn! And these colors! Here at Strickmich!, we could not believe our eyes when we opened the shipment from Uschitita, as it was all so beautiful. The yarn base "Pure Sock" is the same that we used for the second project of Strickmich! Club 2022. Here, you find this pure merino yarn base in six different colors, all quite typical for the Uschitita dyeing style: quite muted base colors with fun and unusual speckles. This yarn will make your knitting exciting and the end result absolutely stunning! It's perfectly suited for garter stitch shawls as well as lace patterns, as the multicolors are not so dominant that they will eat up all your efforts.

"Safe Reflect" is a thin reflective yarn that Martina uses in all her hats for added safety! It will reflect the lights of cars and street lamps in the dark but it is almost invisible in daylight. Choose a color to match your main yarn.

Pascuali Pinta

A beautiful, slightly shiny and very durable combination of fibers makes "Pinta" by Pascuali so special: Mulesing-free merino wool warms and absorbs moisture, silk adds durability and shine and ramie (viscose made out of a nettle plant) adds smoothness and weight. A good choice for hats, mittens and gloves as well as for shawls you expect to wear a lot. The yardage is perfect for most shawls in Martina's portfolio.

Hedgehog Fibres Skinny Singles

So cool, so colorful, so Hedgehog Fibres! "Skinny Singles" is the secret superstar in Hedgehog Fibre's yarn line-up: A fine single-ply that takes the creative colors of color artist Beata Jezek especially well. Spun out of superfine merino, it has a subtle luster to it, is super soft and very well tolerated even by sensitive people. With 366 meters per 100 g it is light, but with a nice volume to it and ideal for cowls and shawls. Martina has designed the third pattern for Strickmich! Club 2021 ("Aglaisio") with a special colorway of this yarn.

Pascuali Forest

A soft and light innovative mix of fibers is what makes "Pascuali Forest" so special: 70% mulesing-free merino combined with 15% cotton and 15% viscose made out of bamboo gives this yarn a pleasant feel and a beautiful drape.
