Product information "Kanshoku"

Rosy Green Wool Cheeky Merino Joy
Color Rosy Green Wool: 261 Melange Heidekraut
This yarn is pure joy: 100% Merino superwash from Argentina, spun in a traditional mill in the UK, GOTS-certified (i. e. produced animal- and eco-friendly) – and soooo supersoft! I do not know many yarns that feel as good as this next to your skin – so it's ideal for shawls, hats and scarves as well as baby clothing. My patterns Matchmaker (DK-Version) and Naiada, as well as Braidsmaid, Heaven & Space, Buds & Bumbles and Brickless are perfect with this yarn, but also my hat patterns Tensfield, Langfield, Blunk the Hat turn out wonderfully in this yarn. The "Melange" colors of Cheeky Merino Joy by Rosy Green Wool have an interesting, almost rustic look to them – while being just as soft as their solid cousins! This is achieved by dyeing a part of the white merino fiber in a dark color before it is spun in to yarn. The colors that are dyed on the skeins will then have a beautiful heathered effect. The sample "Knitters DNA" from our book "Hitchhiker Collection" was made out of two skeins of this yarn, colorway "Sea Green". The sample "Rose Candy" from our book "Strickmich! Knitting Inventions" was knit out of 1 skein of this yarn in color "Eismeer" and 1 skein in color "Nachthimmel".  My patterns  Obvious, Shore Hap Joy, Shrug & More, Corners, Edges, Stripes and  Liebe Hannah were written specifically for this yarn.

Strickmich! Big Bowl is the more voluminous version of her little sister, the Strickmich! Bowl Accessory bag: Open it up and it will expand to a useful bowl that holds your yarn balls when knitting. Big Bowl holds 250 to 350 g yarn (on the ball or knitted) plus your needles. The smaller version (Strickmich! Bowl – accessory bag) is suitable for knitting accessories or small projects with up to 100 g yarn. The yarn and decoration in the pictures are not included.Strickmich! Big Bowl is sewn by Manomama in Augsburg, Germany after an idea by knitwear designer Martina Behm: Sturdy organic cotton fabric that will hold its shape and a reinforced bowl bottom with wool felt from German sheep who live in the Black Forest. The contrast-color zipper looks great with the Strickmich! logo tag and is made in Germany as well. Manomama is a project by Sina Trinkwalder, who established Manomama in the old textile hub Augsburg in Bavaria, employing people who find it hard to find work otherwise. Shrug & More
Formate: PDF Download | Language: Deutsch
Easy to knit, multifunctional and interesting to look at – that’s the kind of knitting project that I am most fond of these days! Shrug & More was designed as a garter stitch shrug, but the arm openings are intentionally big enough to fit over your head – which creates endless possibilities to wear! The short-row shaping of the collar and one two-tone sleeve make it an interesting piece of your wardrobe. The yarn I chose is a certified organic ultrasoft merino which is a true pleasure to have next to your skin. How to wear Shrug & More from Martina Behm on Vimeo. Useful hints for knitting Shrug & More: Shrug & More Instructions from Martina Behm on Vimeo. 2 skeins of Rosy Green Wool Cheeky Merino Joy in the main color plus 1 skein in the secondary color will be sufficient to make a "Shrug & More" up to approx. size L. For larger sizes, please have 3 skeins in the main color ready.

A soft and cozy wrap cardigan in a beautiful mulesing-free merino yarn in a favorite color – every knitter needs one! Wrap & Warm is worked seamlessly in the round from the sleeves to the collar and can be adapted to your size and preferences during the knitting: the width of the cuffs, the length of the sleeves, the width and length of the cardi and the dimensions of the collar can all be adapted while you are working on it. You decide! If you work the edges in different widths as suggested, you will get two different looks depending on which one is worn at the neck side. Use a shawl pin to close it if you prefer.
